Call me Hope.  I am a survivor of childhood sexual, physical, emotional and ritualistic abuse.  My beloved identical twin sister and I suffered horrific abuse and torture from around the age of 3 until puberty.

I am not a psychiatrist, psychologist or trained therapist or counselor.  I am sharing my story to offer hope for others who have survived domestic violence and the resulting Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) common among survivors of traumatic abuse.  I am offering suggestions for healing past hurts from the perspective of someone who's been there.  I no longer consider myself a victim of abuse, but a survivor who is now thriving in this life.  I am offering therapeutic ideas that have helped me.  Nothing included on this site is meant to substitute or replace therapy you are receiving from a trained, licensed professional.  Every person is a unique individual.  Please try things offered here that seem like a fit for your unique personality and situation.  Feel free to leave the rest.  What works for some may not work for everyone.  God bless you on your journey of healing to thriving as a survivor, Hope
