Welcome all and to everyone who lives in the U.S., welcome back! I trust everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving and peaceful, long weekend.  Today, I am getting back into the Inner Child pages.  Now that we have talked about ways to heal the Toxic Shame associated with abuse and other forms of domestic violence, I want to finish up with other ways for Healing the Wounds of Childhood.

This week, I hope to finish the entire Inner Child section with:
   Getting Child Developmental Needs Met as an Adult;
   Integrating Your Disowned Parts;
   and finally, having some fun with:
   Letting Your Child Out to Play

So, take your time and look around as I finish this important section.  Don't forget to take my Web poll for our next healing topic.

God bless, love and light, Hope

I just had a moment of serendipity and I wanted to share it with all of you.  I have been struggling a bit lately with all of the obligations and commitments I have made.  I have also been praying quite a bit over some choices I have in front of me...trying to decide if I can take on anything else right now.  I am still praying and have not received a definitive answer, but here's a quote that a MySpace friend shared with me that I thought was appropriate:
"The best and safest thing is to keep a balance in your life, acknowledge the great powers around us and in us. If you can do that, and live that way, you are really a wise man."

Healing Page Update Information:
December 7, 2006

I've been sidetracked a bit as of late, but I did get a chance to update my blog with an important suggestion for turning triggering experiences (that you can't avoid) into opportunities for healing.  Please check out my blog and try this exercise.  Just be careful to warm up your muscles and use proper protection before attempting.  This type of exercise is great for a physical and emotional release of pent up rage, but you don't want to physically hurt yourself in the process!  Please let me know if you have any success.  I promise to get back on track with the final Inner Child pages soon.  God bless, love and light, Hope

I know I've been sidetracked lately, but hopefully some good things have come out of it.  I've posted a new blog about releasing rage triggered by unavoidable experiences.  That has seemed to help quite a number of my MySpace friends and I hope everyone will check it out.

Today, I've posted a relaxation technique that I've found extremely helpful.  As a survivor with PTSD, I know how difficult it can be to relax at times.  PTSD sufferers are easily startled and triggered.  These experiences can be draining and exhausting!  However, because we dread nightmares and may be easily triggered just by the thought of going to bed, we don't always relax and fall asleep easily, even if we are extremely tired.  Please try this relaxation technique by clicking here.  I pray that it helps you find some peace.  Thanks to SASS for sharing that with me.

I promise to get back to the rest of the Inner Child pages next week.  Peace to all for a wonderful weekend.  Love and light, Hope
